God has entrusted to me. I hope my players see that faith isn’t something that only happens in

all things. When their time here is done, I hope they’re better equipped to go out into the world and

What is FCA?
FCA is touching millions of lives ... one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and
athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high, and youth levels to use the powerful
medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by
equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. We are a vision-driven
ministry. Our vision gives us focus, alignment, clarity and accountability.
FCA’s Vision Statement is “to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence
of coaches and athletes.”
Our Mission
FCA’s Mission is “to present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and
adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the
fellowship of the church.”
Why we do what we do...
The youth of today are dealing with peer pressure, bullying, drugs and alcohol, loneliness, etc. Coaches
are dealing with intense pressure for wins along with the stress coaching puts on their families. FCA is
devoted to helping the youth and coaches deal with these challenges as they are confronted with difficult
decisions and choices. The monies raised will help fund the four areas of ministry that FCA focuses on to
build up the youth and coaches in Central Ohio.
Campus Ministry
We weekly spend time with students studying Biblical principles and teaching how to apply them
to their lives in a real way. We also engage in Team Chapels sharing and encouraging the teams,
helping them deal with the pressures of competing in their sport while getting an education.
Coaches Ministry
We come alongside the coach by supporting them and empowering them to maximize their
influence in the lives of their athletes on all three levels: body, mind and heart, through a program
called FCA’s 3Dimensional Coach. We help coaches deal with the pressures from parents and the
stresses coaching puts on their marriages.
Camps Ministry
Camps are an opportunity to spend 1-4 days with the youth and provide them with a lot of
inspiration and perspiration through great training both physically and spiritually. Many lives
have been changed through the FCA camps since the first camp was held in 1956. Camp scholar
ships are
available to those who can’t afford to attend.
Community Ministry
We are reaching out to club sports to minister to the athletes and coaches as now more than 45
million kids participate in club sports.
