CHAMPIONSHIP NORTH 1 LADIES TEAM RECRUITING COACHES Novocastrian’s Ladies team are looking to recruit coaches for the forthcoming season. The team is made up of highly motivated and talented individuals keen to develop and improve on their current standing in the league. We cater for a wide level of ability, with many of our team playing county rugby, as well as England U20 representation and North Region representation. However we regularly have complete novices turn up throughout the season. We actively recruit and with the opportunity of the World Cup we are aiming to build a development team. The structure of the league means the majority of games are played between September and Christmas, with only 2 or 3 after Christmas. We also compete in the National Cup competition reaching the semi-final in 2013-2014. The first few rounds of this competition are played preChristmas with the ‘last 16’ games after Christmas. The club has three main pitches which have been re-landscaped in 2014, with floodlights being installed in summer 2015. The work that has gone on during the 2014/15 season will enable us to have some of the best facilities in the north east. We therefore envisage having 2 coaches, one head coach/first team and one assistant/ development coach able to coach new players to rugby. There will likely be overlap while the development team is forming and so we do require coaches who are happy to work collectively in a coaching team. Our requirements are: • • • • • • • Level 2 coaching qualification minimum 2 training sessions a week 7 home games (ideally away games as well) Player feedback and position specific skill training, game plan/tactical development Team selection Provide training plans if unable to attend Provide pre-season training Expenses may be available depending on experience and level of availability.
