Carousel Park. Training will be provided. Must be 16 years
of age or older. Donate as much time as you like. Bring your
calendar, so you can pick dates to work. Come to Newfane

Pack up the kids and head to Olcott. Olcott Beach
Carousel Park is open! Open Sat., Sun. & Mon., from
12 - 6 pm of Memorial Day Weekend; Open
Saturdays and Sundays, 12 - 6 p.m. through June;
Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, 12 - 6
p.m. and Saturday 12 - 8 p.m July through Labor

July 4, 2015: Patriots Day Parade
Straight from a Norman Rockwell painting,
this parade is nostalgic, patriotic and fun!
Dress up in red, white and blue and
decorate your bikes and wagons. Meet at
the Krull Park overlook, Main St., Olcott, in
the North portion of the park by 12 p.m. to
line up. Then march to Olcott Beach
Carousel Park, at 12:30 pm. Free ice cream
compliments of Carousel Concessions and
ride ticket (donated by Olcott Beach
Carousel Park) for participating children.

Catch the trolley at the Ontario St. entrance (across
from the beach) to Olcott Beach Carousel Park
(OBCP) from 12 - 5 p.m. to get a free narrated tour of
Olcott’s history. See Olcott memorabilia at OBCP and
swap stories on Olcott’s history. Enter the Skee Ball
Challenge at (OBCP) and earn bragging rights for the
2015 year. Wine tasting and much more. Catch the
puppet play Puss ’N Boots, performed by the
Omnipresent Theater from California, on the stage at OBCP at 3 p.m. on

August 11, 2015: Jazz Sea Sunset at the Olcott Yacht Club to Benefit Olcott
Beach Carousel Park
Don’t be left out! This is the party of the year and
all for a good cause. It’s a fundraiser for Olcott
Beach Carousel Park (a not for profit, all
volunteer run kiddie park) and takes place from 7
- 10 p.m.. The event features local wineries and
musicians. Featured wine tastings from Schulze
Vineyards and Winery, Black Willow Winery,
Victorianbourg Wine Estate, and BlackBird Cider
Works. Guests can enjoy an evening of musical
entertainment (for listening and dancing under the
stars) with the Sophisticats on the patio and singalong piano favorites in the dining room with Kevin Clark and the Timbre Land Whiskey
Band under the wine tent. Tickets are $25 and also include food catered by Donna
Eick. Cash bar and a view of the sunset on Lake Ontario. Park at the Harbor Inn on Rt.
18 and take the trolley to the yacht club at the end of Van Buren Street in Olcott. Get

August 23,2015: Olcott Beach Carousel Park Presents its
Thirteenth Anniversary & Roaring 20’s Community
Appreciation Day at 5979 Main St., Olcott, 14126.
Celebrate our 13th season and our carousel’s 87th birthday, Roaring 20’s style
from 12 - 6 p.m. Special guests include Popeye and Olive
Oyl. Antique cars on display. Entertainment on stage at
3:15 PM will feature Carlton the Mime. Free washable
tattoos and face painting for the kids, a Skee Ball
Challenge (3 divisions, winners of each division receive a
Regal Theater Gift Card), cookies, free rides on the
Olcott Fire Truck from 1 - 3 p.m. At 3:15 on the Tom
Kelley Rustic Theater Stage, catch Carlton the Mime! After the show. Carlton will
tour the park performing magic tricks and juggling. To show
appreciation to the community for their support of the park,

Variety Show with Nels Ross:
Olcott Beach Carousel Park’s Rustic Theater, 5979 Main St.
Olcott, NY 14126, at 3 p.m. will be the setting of a fabulously
funny “All New Show” comedy act that is suitable for the whole
family. Join nationally known Nels Ross as he juggles, enlists
participants from the audience, and puts on a hilariously
entertaining show.
