We are using our Web Site, Face Book, Scuttlebutt and email Constant Contact to keep you informed of everything happening at OYC. Just in case one of these missed you...opening night is Wed, April 29 with just Grog Room menu then full menu starting Friday, May 1. As usual, until July we will be open only Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun. Julie, Zach and the rest of the Staff will be here to welcome you. In an effort to encourage Wilson boaters to come to Olcott , the Board has voted to rescind paragraphs 4, 5 and 6 of the Reciprocal Use Policy under the Club By-Laws. These paragraphs limited Reciprocal Members to 2 visits per month and eliminating these paragraphs will allow unlimited visitation by any Reciprocal Club Members. Pattie Schneider is also planning joint races with Olcott and Wilson to expand activity between the local Clubs. We hope this will increase visitation to Olcott and possibly generate more activity in the OYC Bar and Restaurant. I wish to thank both the Board Members as well as a good many other Members that helped in getting the Club ready for the season. It seems like it takes as much effort to restart a closed facility as it would to maintain it year round, just crammed into a couple weeks. See you at the Club, I look forward to greeting friends at OYC, old and new.
