News Letter April 2015
Our volunteers decided to forgo the standard shingle
nail-over and instead we will be installing a durable metal
roof.
A youth group from Pennsylvania will be spending Spring
Break helping some local volunteers with the installation.
A local contractor is helping us secure the material at
costs and he will be donating his expertise. God is good
all the time!
Auto Reapir Bill
Chuck & Greg
Onesimus Ministries
It’s been a rough last 4 months keeping our 3 vehicles
running. Each have undergone major repairs. We still
have a repair bill that’s over 60 days old. I promised to
pay the mechanic the $850.00 we own by early April. All
total we had about $3,600 in repair bills since November. Thank fully the low gas prices have low. It would
have been a major challenge to juggle repair bills along
with high gas prices too.
Gregory Little Remembered
Greg was like a brother to some. His love for country music was evident. He love to dance to the music,
and it touched him deeply. He will be forever missed.
Joseph Anderson
Greg was my Brother in Christ, and my friend. We
laughed, we cried, and we joked with each other, but
most of all Greg showed each of us the Love of Christ
in everything he did.
Your Perfect Now my
friend. Bill Lombardi
Greg didn’t die, he just departed this moment of
uncertain misery. Edward Golson

The Onesimus House is the beginning of
God’s second chance for me as a free man.
I'm expecting that this ministry will help me
to become more Christ like and help me
obtain my personal goals. I believe Onesimus
is God’s designed plan for me during this
season of my life. I’m thankful to Bill Twine
for having a heart that pleases God in doing
what he does for so many people. “Reggie”
Employment Corner
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered
12 step recovery program which covers all your
hurts, habits and hang ups. We meet every Friday evening at Hickory Ridge Community
Church. The main difference from this program
and your AA or NA meetings is Jesus is named
as your higher power. True healing happens
when brothers and sisters seek Christ as the
Way, Truth and the Life.
For once he was useless to you,
But now:
he is useful to both you and me.

Travis Christian
My name is Travis Christian. I’m 24 and I've
been at Onesimus for one week now. I plan
on fixing my life the way it should be. I
heard about the Onesimus house through a
friend and I thought it was for me. I used to
be wild until I picked up a Bible one day and
read it. Long story short: I liked it! I’m
planning on getting a job soon and within the
next 5 years owning my own Flooring
Business. While I'm here I plan on going to
church every week. I’m excited about all
that’s happening and I hope everything goes
great. “Travis”
