THE KEITH BISSELL
SCHOLARSHIP
PURPOSE: to honour the memory of Keith Bissell
THIS SCHOLARSHIP WILL BE: an award in the amount of $400.00 for the study of
an approved Orff Level’s course or Master Class at a Canadian Institution, with
preference given to candidates applying to attend courses offered in Ontario.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Completed application form
2. Letter of intent
3. Resume: including the applicant’s musical background, educational institutions
attended and teaching positions (where applicable)
4. Transcripts of grades in previous Orff Courses (where applicable). You may scan
these in, and send them in electronic format.
5. Two letters of reference: one from an Orff course instructor (where applicable),
and one from another music educator. You may scan these, and send them in
electronic format.
6. Applicant must be a member in good standing of the Ontario Chapter of Music
For Children, Carl Orff Canada, Musique Pour Enfants
7. Application deadline: May
1st, 2015. No exceptions will be made.
