OUR SAVIOR LUTHERAN MINISTRIES ANNOUNCEMENTS Weekly Bulletin of Events & Announcements March 22, 2015 Mites for Mission! Your coins support Missions! The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (Women in Mission) has been collecting coins for missions since 1928. These collections have been based on the Biblical account of the widow’s mite (Luke 21:1-4) and support missions at home and abroad. Starting on Palm Sunday, Our Savior will have the opportunity to engage in this ministry, and it will repeat every fifth Sunday in the year. Bring your coins. Be part of funding the Angels Nest Child Development Center’s project of “Safety and Growth” in Sacramento. Mite coin boxes will be available on the table in the rear of the church. 9:00am 10:15am 10:30am Pastries Needed! 10:30am OSLM will be hosting its annual Easter Brunch after worship on Sunday, April 5th. A delicious meal will be prepared by Mark McDonald and team, and served to us by the Sr. Youth who are raising funds to go to the National Youth Gathering in 2016. We are inviting members to contribute pastries. Simply drop them off in the gym before the service on Easter morning if you can help in this way. We appreciate it! Great fellowship, delicious food and lots of laughs made it a very enjoyable evening. And the winner of the grand raffle was…..Christa Even! “I’ve never won anything in my life!” she said with a big smile. With items in there for every age, you can bet that her grandchildren will be just as thrilled as she was! For those of you who couldn’t make it, don’t worry! We’ll plan another potluck soon. — Heidi Wolfson Find out more about CityServe by looking at their new brochure, available on the table at the back of the church.
