About Dr Michael Ho BDS, BSc Comp Sc(hons) University of Sydney
A private practitioner based in Sydney, Australia, Dr Michael Ho completed his first degree with a Bachelor of Science with honours
majoring in computer science in 1983. His honours year project was in robotics control.
After a couple of years in the IT industry and some travelling, he went back to discover his passion for dentistry. Both his degrees were from
the University of Sydney, Australia.
Michael has been in private practice since he graduated in 1990. From 2008 to 2011 Michael Ho was given the role of being the exclusive
trainer for E4D, chair side delivery of CADCAM ceramic restoration, in Australia and New Zealand. He attained his fellowship and was certified
as Clinical Trainer by the World Clinical Laser Institute in 2009.
As well as his affinity for technology, Michael shares his passion in his professional life with orthodontics. He graduated from a two year
academic and clinical course from POS (Progressive Orthodontics Seminars) in 1999 and continues with his orthodontic development through
the years keeping up his orthodontic professional development. He attained his Invisalign Accreditation in 2004. Orthodontics is an integral
part of his general practice. He has been associated with CFast Australia since its establishment in 2013 and very excited to be involved in
helping introduce orthodontics into the general practice.
About Dr Bill Kalis BDS(Hons) GradCertDent
Dr Bill Kalis graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in 1994 and subsequently also completed a Graduate Certificate
in Clinical Dentistry via the University of Adelaide in 2007. He operates a full time private practice in Sydney Australia, maintaining a strong
focus on cosmetic and implant treatment while encompassing all the usual facets of general practice. He is a strong advocate of minimally
invasive dentistry and his approach is very frank and pragmatic.
He conducts both the surgical and restorative aspects of implant treatment and has lectured extensively for 3M ESPE, Osseodental and the
Australian Dental Association including the filming of live surgeries. He is a member of the Sydney Chapter of the Seattle Study Club which
focuses on the multidisciplinary management of complex cases and the current NSW President and Immediate Past Federal President of the
Australian Society of Implant Dentistry.
As one of the C-Fast Australia chosen key advisers at its inception in 2013, Dr Kalis played an instrumental role in the development of Cfast
system in Australia. He underwent personal one-on-one mentoring by the C-Fast creator Dr Biju Krishnan and continues to be involved in its
ongoing development.
