Paradise Aerie & Auxiliary
I’ve been a member of the Aerie since August, 1993. I’ve served in
various offices, with the last 11 years as Aerie Secretary. These have
been wonderful years for me and I thank you all for allowing me to
serve you. I plan to keep active and am now working an Aerie golf
tournament being held in Oct.

Our next Bunco is on June 20th. Starting time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm/3:30pm.
For the newbies wanting to learn how to play, come at 12:30pm
We have changed the cost to play. If you are a member of the Paradise Aux
and bring a raffle prize/snacks, it is $5:00. If you don't have a raffle
prize/snacks, the cost is $10.00

We are putting together a bus trip to the Giants vs Dodgers
Game on Oct. 1st 12:45 pm Bus leaves @ 8:00 a.m. The cost
will be $115 including bus & game admission or $75 to ride the
bus to San Francisco for the day. Cocktails available on board,
no glass allowed. Deposits being taken now, to reserve your
spot. 10 seats & tickets still available.

Our deepest gratitude to Greg Lynch for all of his work restoring our
wind destroyed Marquee! What an improvement!!!
Thanks also to Rick McGregor who donated the gravel used for the
base of the marquee.
Thank you to Joe Runnels for mowing the lot, front and back,
improving the appearance and making our property fire safe.
Thank you to Greg’s wife, Cheryl, for all of the volunteer work she has
done around the Aerie.
Thank you also to Linda Darby-Downey and the Garden Club for their
work on the back patio. It’s looking great back there!
And thank you to Trustee, Marci Rude, for being our fill-in bartender.
This year’s Relay for Life will be held @ the Paradise High School beginning Saturday, June 13th @ 10:00 a.m. to Sunday morning 10:00 a.m. Help our community reach our goal to help give another birthday to cancer patients. I will be having a “kid zone” team. There will be crafts, sports and a whole lot of fun. We will be offering popcorn and kids otter pops for sale to help reach our team goal of $500. If you would like to donate, walk or volunteer please contact me @ 321-‐3960. I will be @ the Aerie Social Quarters on Tuesday, June 2nd for Taco Tuesday and I will be offering luminaries for $10 each along with other Relay For Life goodies. I hope to see you there.
