Welcome to our Holy Family!!

“Peace is also threatened by every denial of human
dignity. Unfortunately, what is thrown away is not only
food and dispensable objects, but often human beings
themselves, who are discarded as ’unnecessary’. For
example, it is frightful even to think there are children,
victims of abortion, who will never see the light of day”

April 26 ♥ Fourth Sunday of Easter ♥
John 10:11-18
 In today’s Gospel reading, Jesus said. “I am
the good shepherd.” Jesus goes on to tell how a good
shepherd will lay down his life to protect the sheep. A
hired man, who is not a shepherd and does not own the
sheep will run away and leave the sheep if a wolf attacks the flock. The hired man works for money and
will not risk his life for something that does not belong
to him. Jesus goes on to say. “I am the good shepherd,
and I know my sheep and my sheep know me just like
my Father knows me and I know my Father. I will
give up my life for my sheep. I have other sheep that
are not here but I must gather them and bring them
together. They will hear my voice and come. Then
there will be one flock, one shepherd.”
Are you one of the sheep Jesus talks about?
How does it feel to have Jesus say he will lay down
his life to protect his sheep?
Do others hear Jesus voice today? How can we help
bring others to Jesus?
