Personnel Announcement
I am excited to announce the selection of Keith Schwartz to serve the Northwest Community as the
Pathfinder District Executive effective May 1st, 2015.
Keith, a proud Eagle Scout, began his journey with the BSA as a Tiger Cub in Buffalo Grove, IL. He
continued on with his Troop and camped at Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation, where he served on staff
for two seasons. He also served on the staff at Camp Okarro before leaving the Chicagoland area to
pursue his college education. After college he was selected to serve the Bay Lakes Council in Oshkosh,
WI as a District Executive.
He is a Brotherhood Member of the Order of the Arrow, received three Eagle palms, and was
commissioned as a professional Scouter at the Center for Professional Development.
Keith is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Theatre Design with a minor in Radio, TV, and Film Studies.
When he is not Scouting, Keith enjoys camping, hiking, and attending sporting events.
A strong passion for Scouting, consistent self-motivation, and desire to serve our units will make Keith a
tremendous asset to the Northwest Community’s youth and families.
Keith will be stationed at the Arlington Heights Service Center beginning May 4 th, 2015.
