Home Energy Assistance Program HEAP, PIPP, Utility and Fuel Fund Programs These programs are designed to assist low income households in paying their heating bills in the winter and summer months. During winter months in addition to providing help with heating bills, furnace repairs are allowable. During summer months, fans and air conditioners are also provided to those with qualifying medical conditions. What to bring: • • • • The Pathway Home Energy Assistance Program accepts only 10 walk-in appointments each day, beginning at 8:00 AM. Seniors 60 years of age or older do not need appointments, and will be seen from 8:00–9:00 AM Monday–Friday. Current documentation of all household income (all members age 18 or older) for the last 3 months. A valid photo ID for all adults 18 years of age or older. Social Security cards and birth certificates for all household members. Current utility bills from First Energy and Columbia Gas. Bills must be in the name of household member. Letter of support for ALL zero income household members. Letter to be written by person who supports you, and include the names of all supported persons. Food stamp printout for ALL zero income customers. Medical slips (only required for Summer Crisis Program).
