March 4, 2015 Meeting Minutes
Attendees: Steve Cantu, Coach Pullen, Charles Hickman, Joy Sansom, Stephanie Jeffries-Webb, Valerie
Thedford, Scott Dupree, Wanda Janczak, Kris Cutler, Kristi Bailey, Lisa Cantu, Tina Peterson, and
Jeremy Peterson
 On March 4, 2015 the East View Baseball Booster Club meeting was called to order at 6:07 pm by Steve Cantu.
 Joy Sansom submitted the minutes from the February 4, 2015 booster club meeting. Minutes were approved by
Stephanie Jeffries-Webb and seconded by Valerie Thedford.
 Steve Cantu moved on to the agenda:
o Treasury Report - Valerie Thedford reported…..
 Balance for end of February 2015 is $12,124.00. We still have about $1,000 out in unpaid Meet
the Patriots sales.
o Fundraiser Update – Charles Hickman reported……
 About 400 bags of mulch were sold. Should be about 6 pallets delivered.
o Navy Tournament and EV Varsity Tournament Volunteers:
 Kris Cutler reported that there will be no concessions this weekend due to the lack of
volunteers.
 We still need people to staff the gate. The gate funds are used to pay the umpires.
 Volunteers are still needed for the EV Varsity Tourny March 12-14 for both concessions and
gate.
o Sponsorship Update – Stephanie Jeffries-Webb reported……
 Hat Creek Home Run Zone was approved. Hat Creek will have a 12 ft banner printed that will be
hung inside the right side fence line. For any HR from any EV team hit over the homerun zone
Hat Creek will donate $100.00.
 Wrapping up media guide. Will be 52 pages
 Pictures will be ready this Friday.
 Positive Image and DNL will be bidding on senior posters.
 Banners to be printed: Senior and Varsity group banners and then senior individual banners.
Motion was made by Stephanie to spend $734.00 to have this done. It was seconded by Joy
Sansom and approved unanimously.
o End of Season Banquet Update – Lisa Cantu reported……
 Will be held either May 23 or 24 depending on venue. Checking for availability at Reunion
Ranch.
 Last year we spent $2,700 to, but $2,000 was recouped thru ticket sales.
 A motion was made to by Valerie Thedford to move forward with planning the banquet for
Reunion Ranch, Seconded by Charles Hickman, approved unanimously.
o Coach Pullen Update - Coach Pullen reported ……
 Hit-A-Thon was a success. Money went into general fund. Immediately bought 4 hearers.
 Game day shirts were ordered for the Varsity. $45.00 each/ make payable to EVHS Baseball
Boosters. Are Fishing Shirts

 Motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Charles Hickman and seconded by Valerie Thedford.
 Meeting was adjourned at 6:30 pm
