Am, Amateur& Open. Eligibility: Must enter minimum of 1 halter & 3 performance classes in same division to be
eligible. Youth & Amateur Points are tabulated on a per horse/rider combination. Awards not picked up by the end of
the show will be forfeited.

Age Groups: Youth & Amateur – Exhibitor’s age as if Jan 1, 2015 & Date of Birth must be written on entry form.

Each exhibitor MUST show a current APHA membership card to the show secretary. A replacement membership card
may be purchased at show.
4.
Novice Amateurs and Amateurs MUST show 2015 Amateur Card to show secretary at each show and cannot show
horses they do not own in accordance with APHA Rule AM-020.A. Must show a copy of transferred papers at
show. Temporary card may be purchased at show.
5. Novice Youth MUST show 2015 card to show secretary at each show. (YP-210). Temporary card may be purchased at

APHA rules shall apply when not covered by PBPHC rules
All entries must be made on approved show forms and filled out completely.
All horses must have an APHA registration certificate if showing in APHA-approved classes.
Owners and exhibitors must have a current APHA membership card.
Youth and open exhibitors may join APHA at the show prior to exhibiting
Novice Amateur and Amateur exhibitors must have a current APHA membership card verified by
the show secretary before they may show in a novice amateur, amateur, or amateur W/T.
Youth exhibitors must have a current APHA Youth membership card verified by the show
secretary before they may show in any youth classes.
Name of owner and membership number must be the same as listed on the registration
certificate.
Registration papers, membership cards, and valid Coggins must be shown to the show secretary

one (1) horse one (1) exhibitor for eligible divisions

Any show that is cross-approved for Year End awards with PBPHC will be added as provided by
participating club. It is NOT the responsibility of PBPHC Point Keeper to verify points provided.
Awards are based on the PBPHC point system not on national points.
Points will be made available to all members within 30 days of completion of show
on www.pbphc.com. PBPHC points may be contested for a time period of (7) days after points have
been posted to www.pbphc.com After said time has expired all points will be final. Members should
contact current PBPHC Point Keeper or any current PBPHC Board of Directors for questions or
concerns.

All Youth and Amateur exhibitors must declare what division they want to compete in. A youth or
Amateur exhibitor can only compete in (1) division for Year End Hi-Point Awards
Work Requirements to be Eligible for Year End Awards:
Members must work a minimum of (2) Hours per show in which they would like to use toward
meeting the established judges minimum. In lieu of work requirement, members may opt to pay
annual Show Expense Fee of $200. Documentation of member’s declaration to pay Show Expense
Fee or to work must be made in writing on 2015 Membership Form. Exhibitors will have the
opportunity to schedule work hours by communicating with Show Manager. Although work does
not have to be completed at time of submission of “Declaration”, points will be tabulated from the
date “Declaration” is submitted. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure work hours/show
fee are satisfied.
In the event that an individual class has less than (3) entries, PBPHC Awards committee reserves the
right to combine awards.
Exhibitor must earn a minimum of 10 PBPHC points in their respective class in 2015. Points earned
at approved Partner shows will not satisfy this requirement.
Exhibitor must show to 6 of 8 PBPHC approved Judges. Approved Partner shows will not satisfy
judge requirement.
2015 KICK OFF INCENTIVE: Points earned during the first show of the year will count for DOUBLE CLUB
Points!
Year End High Point Open Awards:
I.
Will be awarded to the Open horse that has earned the most points in Open classes. Horse must be
eligible for Year-End Awards in a minimum of 1 halter class and a minimum of 3 performance
classes.
Year End High Point Exhibitor Awards: Will be awarded to eligible horse/rider combinations in all
offered divisions excluding Sweepstakes Classes. APHA Eligible horse/rider combinations must be
eligible for Year-End Awards in a minimum of 1 halter class and a minimum of 3 performance classes. All
Breed exhibitors must be eligible for Year-End class awards in a minimum of (4) events.
