Learn about the different varieties of tomatoes and other vegies to plant
for spring and when to plant them. Come along and let Milton share with
you an easy, no-fuss approach to your own spring garden. Also learn about

Walking groups are a great way of keeping active as well as socialising and
meeting new people in your local community. The Belgrade Ave Community
Centre is calling on community members to meet at the centre on Monday
and/or Tuesday mornings to go for a walk and get some fresh air and
exercise.

take part, children need to be between one and three years. A playgroup
leader will be present at each playgroup. The smalltalk program is to assist
with parenting skills.

Youth Group
The Baranduda Youth Group is a program designed for the 11 to 14 age
group in Baranduda and surrounds. The group will have a different activity
each Friday that is designed to develop skills and knowledge, as well as
being fun and a social event. Some of the activities for term three include
movie and popcorn nights, pool and air hockey competitions, sports games
and board games. This is a chance for young people to come together in a
healthy and supervised environment.

Bootcamp
Are you looking to increase your activity level and overall fitness?
Bootcamp might be just what you are looking for. The aim of Bootcamps
Australia is to help people move and function better in the things they
do every day. This is called functional fitness, and involves building core
strength and cardio-respiratory fitness, all over strength and conditioning
as well as flexibility.

Italian winter
soups
Do you need some warming up this winter? Come and learn the art of
Italian soup-making with Roman native, Letizia Gavioli. Leti will show
you how to make the traditional Italian soups, Minestra di pasta e patate
(Potato soup) and Minestra di pasta e fagioli (Bean soup). These soups use
simple ingredients, but are tasty and quick to cook.

Older people often express their concerns and inability to understand or
use new technology including mobile phones, iPads, computers, internet,
Facebook, digital televisions, cameras, microwaves, GPS and even changing
radio stations in their cars. Fear of new technology can limit one’s ability
to maintain family contact and be informed about current affairs and
local events. Bring along your own device and learn some tips from Year
11 students from Catholic College Wodonga. Funded by your Learn Local
provider.

Felltimber’s
‘Hook Line and
Sinker’ - with
Learn some tips and tricks about fishing on Wednesday afternoons at
the Felltimber Lake. Five sessions will be held, culminating in a Saturday
morning fishing event allowing participants to put into practice what they
have learnt. Bring your own rod and reel if you have one, otherwise these
can be provided. This course is run in partnership with North East Anglers
Association and Vietnam Veterans. Ages six to 12 years.

group offers an environment to openly share the special experiences,
joys and challenges associated with being part of a multiple birth family.
AWMBA is an affiliated member of the Australian Multiple Birth Association

services.

Bookings are essential for all activities. Courses will be held only if sufficient numbers enrol. Enrolment forms are
available by contacting the Baranduda and Felltimber community centres in person, by phoning the number below,
emailing or from the Wodonga Council website at wodonga.vic.gov.au. All Belgrade Avenue Community Centre courses
must be booked through Felltimber Community Centre.
