The University of Pennsylvania reserves the
right to cancel or postpone any activity due
to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of
cancellation or postponement, the University
will refund registration fees but will not be
responsible for related costs or expenses

assessed by airlines, travel agencies and

Full refunds, less a $75 administrative fee,
will be made to those providing written
notification of withdraw by April 3, 2015.

Penn Radiology will distribute CME presentations
to registered attendees on a flash drive at the
course. A few days prior to the course, preregistered participants will receive an email
containing directions to view the presentations
online and additional course information. After
the symposium has concluded, all participants
will receive a follow-up email containing a link to
the post-test, course evaluation and request for
credit.You must provide your email address to
receive electronic instructions.

OVERVIEW
THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED for
generalized and sub-specialized
radiologists interested in improving
their diagnostic accuracy in abdominal,
cardiothoracic and musculoskeletal
imaging. Over four days, faculty will
provide participants with practical
information to enhance their image
acquisition and interpretation skills.
Lectures and cases will cover optimizing
protocols in CT & MR abdominal and
cardiovascular imaging, controversies
and tips for radiation reduction and MR
safety will also be discussed. Dr. Clyde
Helms will cover our musculoskeletal
portion of the course discussing
methods for improving interpretations of
musculoskeletal MRI.

These modules meet the ABR’s criteria
for a self-assessment activity in the ABR
Maintenance of Certification program.
As of 1/1/2013, MOC Part 2 requirements were
updated: 75 credits every three years, at least
25 of which must be self-assessment activities
(SA-CME, which includes SAMS).

drive of Santa Fe. Daily domestic flights on
