g n i t r o p p u s e b o t Proud r community ou T C A P M I Y T I N U M COM ARDS AW 4 1 0 2 s r e n Win CEO introduction Since joining PHS I have been delighted to learn of the varied and inspiring work that so many of our employees undertake in their own time to support charities and local communities. I firmly believe that, as a business, we should have a positive impact upon the wider community and it is therefore heartening to hear the stories of PHS people who are making a real different in their areas. I have been impressed by the huge number of applications made to our Community Impact Awards scheme, even if this will have given the Foundation Committee an even harder job to select the very worthy winners. This year the Employee Choice award also gave you all an opportunity to take part in the selection process and I was pleased to see how many of you took the time to cast your votes. In fact we had so many votes for all three candidates it was felt only fair to give the other two organisations a runners up award as well. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who applied for the award and a much deserved well done to the 11 winners. It is impressive to have such ambassadors for PHS who work so tirelessly for their causes. I hope you enjoy reading the enclosed winner’s stories.
