U7 of 2015

CHISWICK BRIDGE
REDUCED DEPTHS
Further to Notice to Mariners U3 of 2015.
As per Notice to Mariners U3 of 2015, the works barges being used in support of the
concrete repair works in No. 3 arch at Chiswick Bridge will be removed on Wednesday 8th
April 2015, and the arch re-opened to navigation. This is to accommodate the Universities
Boat Race and surrounding events.
The temporary mooring anchors used for the works in No. 3 arch will be left in place when
the arch is open to navigation between the following dates:
No. 3 Arch
 Wednesday 8th April 2015 to Monday 13th April
Mariners are reminded that due to the presence of the mooring anchors (see below chartlet),
depths in No.3 arch will be reduced by up to 0.7m. Persons in charge of vessels should
take care when navigating through or near No. 3 arch
Further details will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF Channel 14.
