10 Executive Place| Kitchener, Ontario www.playballacademycanada.ca 519-‐804-‐2323 Immediate Release June 1, 2015 Playball Academy Canada Partners With Intercounty Baseball League Kitchener, ON – Playball Academy Canada (PBAC) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership agreement with the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL). The partnership will allow PBAC and the IBL to continuously promote and encourage local communities to engage in baseball. PBAC is Waterloo Region’s first indoor baseball facility that offers individuals, teams and local organizations the ability to practice and train in an elite facility. PBAC first opened its doors in January 2015. “We’re excited to team up with the IBL. The IBL has unique history and it’s great baseball with great local talent. PBAC has several instructors that play and have played for various teams in the league,” said Trevor Nyp, General Manager, PBAC. The IBL has immense history in Southwestern Ontario as the league began in 1919. In its 97th season, the IBL operates with eights team: Kitchener, Brantford, Guelph, London, Barrie, Burlington, Hamilton and Toronto. The IBL remains Ontario's premier senior baseball League.
