Student housing on Davis campus/Hate Crime
SUMMARY OF CRIME/INCIDENT
On 5/20/2015, at approximately 2:30 am, two students were in their dorm room on campus
when they heard an unknown object, possibly a rock, strike their window and break it. This
incident is being fully investigated as a hate crime based on several factors including it is the only
room where a specific flag could be seen hanging from the ceiling. Campus police and Student
Affairs met with representatives from various student communities today to discuss the details
on this crime and seek information on this investigation.
This incident was reported today on 05/20/15 at 4:28am to campus police.
This crime is currently unsolved and an investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information

When community members look out for each other they See Something and they Say Something report suspicious activity
immediately.
Report criminal activity (such as a break-in or intruder, robbery, or assault) immediately to 9-1-1 or for non- emergency situations
on campus, to UCDPD at 530-754-COPS (2677).
In residence halls, apartments or secured facilities do not let in strangers, do not allow strangers to enter behind you as a courtesy
and do not lend out keys.
