Operations Intern for a science-oriented Startup
Are you looking to work in a science-oriented startup environment this summer
learning about project management, sales, and marketing? Look no further. We are
looking for team oriented players to join our startup for the summer. Founded by a
UChicago BSD alumna, LabRepo is a web-based laboratory information
management system for scientists making experimental workflow organization,
collaboration and data sharing across groups easy. LabRepo is one of ten teams
accepted into this summer’s Booth School of Business Polsky Accelerator
program. Thus, by joining our team the inters will be exposed to the full
programming offered by Polsky Center including panels from entrepreneurs,
workshops, and networking events with mentors, Polsky Center faculty and staff,
and investors.
A few highlights:

Contribute to development and growth of a scientific startup
Have flexible working hours
Become a member of the Chicago entrepreneurial community
Help build a strong community of LabRepo users
Requirements/Duties:
We ask that the intern commits to 8-10 hours a week.
Be interested in
 interacting with scientists in the Chicago-area through emails, phone calls
and in-person meetings
 designing and managing marketing campaigns
 contributing to company advertisement thought social media channels
