Polytechnic School Graduate Programs
GRE Waiver Request
All individuals applying to a Fulton Schools of Engineering - Polytechnic School (FSE-PS) graduate
degree program must submit a valid GRE exam result. There are some situations where this
requirement can be waived.
Individuals may qualify for a GRE Exam Waiver if:
You are an applicant to a graduate program within FSE-PS and meet one or more of the following
requirements.
 You are a qualified applicant for a FSE-PS accelerated bachelor/master (4+1) program.
 You are an ASU graduate and earned a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher in your undergraduate
degree in a related field.
 You were previously admitted to a FSE-PS graduate program, are seeking re-admission to
the same program, and earned a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.2 or higher.
 You completed a master’s degree in a related field and earned a graduate GPA of 3.0 or
above in that degree program.
 You have at least five (5) years of professional work experience relevant to your program of
application (submission of a cover letter and professional resume required).
To be considered for a GRE Waiver, applicants must submit this form and check the appropriate box
above. Applicants must submit this completed GRE Waiver Request form electronically to
[email protected] or in person to the FSE Polytechnic School advising office (Wanner Hall 201) for
this request to be considered.
Applicants will be contacted with a decision on the waiver request after department review. Approval
of the GRE Waiver Request does not guarantee admission to the program. A complete application
must be on file with ASU Graduate Admissions to be evaluated for admission to the FSE Polytechnic
School.
