Scheduled Works at Webb Dock
Monday 18 May to Sunday 24 May
Out of hours piling works – Todd Road
Piling works to install protection to the supporting piers of the West Gate Bridge will continue on Todd Road
under the bridge from Monday to Friday between 8pm and 5am. While the contractors will try to minimise
disruption, some noise may be heard. Piling will be undertaken at night in accordance with VicRoads
approvals so as to avoid traffic impacts.
Roads and services works
Pavement and drainage works along the West Gate Freeway on/off ramps continue in addition to
landscaping along the new port roads.
Maritime Works including Impact Piling
Piling works are taking place at Webb Dock East. Piling takes place Monday to Friday between 7am to 6pm
and Saturdays between 7am to 1pm. The maritime piling work will not occur outside of normal working
hours. Out of hours works will continue each Saturday from 1pm to 5pm and as a contingency, on Sunday
from 7am to 5pm if required. Night works will also take place under the wharf. Out of hours works are
required to comply with EPA noise guidelines.
Williamstown Road
Works to repair pot holes on Williamstown Rd, opposite Toll Shipping, are taking place on Friday, traffic
controllers will be in place. On Sunday, Williamstown Rd will operate as a single lane road under contra flow
with traffic controllers to enable conduit installation across the road. Traffic controllers will continue to
manage trucks entering the temporary driveway, opposite Dockside Road, to the Empty Container Park area.
Operator Works
A concrete pour for the new auto terminal is scheduled from 1:30am Friday 22 May. Rollers will be used in
the off dock and empty container park area north of Williamstown Road, some noise and vibration may be
experienced by nearby residents. Early works are ongoing from 0400 weekdays for non-disruptive ground
stabilisation works at Webb Dock East and from 0630 weekdays for the delivery of specialist quarry materials
for about one month. Water carts will be used on Sundays in the ‘off-dock’ area during May. Approval
requires strict compliance with EPA noise guidelines. Queries regarding vibration impacts only should be

Maritime Cove & Perce White Reserve
Perce White Reserve, including the Boardwalk, Webb Trail and Webb Point remain CLOSED and will reopen at the end of May subject to the contractor completing the final rectification works. Installation of the.
barriers to protect the fore dunes are continuing. Beach access is closed until further notice
