Seed & Plant Swap
Saturday, August 1
Become a seed saver! Seed swaps are events where gardeners meet
to exchange seeds. Take part in this fun event as the library starts its
own seed library. Members of the Suwassett Garden club will also be
hosting a plant swap. Got an old plant that you’re struggling with?
Bring it down and swap it for a new one! Whole Foods and the New
York Botanical Gardens have donated seeds for us to grow in our
home gardens. You are not required to bring in a packet of
seeds but if you would like to please make sure
they are of an heirloom variety.
