There will be games, prizes, face painting, balloon animals and other treats for all of our favorite Library patrons. There will even be a chance to pose with your favorite superhero! So, plan to join us for lots of fun! This special event is sponsored by the Friends of the PJ Library. Seed & Plant Swap Saturday, August 1 Become a seed saver! Seed swaps are events where gardeners meet to exchange seeds. Take part in this fun event as the library starts its own seed library. Members of the Suwassett Garden club will also be hosting a plant swap. Got an old plant that you’re struggling with? Bring it down and swap it for a new one! Whole Foods and the New York Botanical Gardens have donated seeds for us to grow in our home gardens. You are not required to bring in a packet of seeds but if you would like to please make sure they are of an heirloom variety.
