Our goal - $1500 Received to date $1,764.00 1. It is a day of worship. Our Lord Jesus lives! Death did not hold Him. In raising Jesus the Father affirmed Jesus as His Son and our Savior. The Resurrection also revealed that the Father accepted the sacrifice made for our sin. That is all gloriously worthy of praise and worship. A true believer cannot be silent or absent from the concert of praise. 2. It is a day of witness. That first Easter contained the instruction from the Angel to the women to "Go, tell . . ." (Mark 16:7). Your presence at Easter services is a witness. Your invitation to family and friends to be your guests is even more. 18 F. H. That's Easter - Resurrection Sunday and I want to encourage everyone to be at church for Easter services. I know it's a holiday, end of spring break, family gathering time, etc . . . . But it is also EASTER - the celebration of Christ's Resurrection, and that's BIG for believers. Easter Sunday is a priority for at least two reasons: Sanctuary Reserved Prayer Meeting 6:30 p.m. Prattmont’s Blessings Field Trip to the Blue Bell Factory 26 Beginning Sunday, April 12th Worship Service 6 p.m. 12 Becoming 13 a Healthy 19 8 My Dear People, 3 Good Friday 4 Autauga County Spring Break Easter 5 Sunday From the Pastor’s Pen “Dick Tater” is very bossy and likes to tell others what to do, but doesn’t want to soil his hands. “Speck Tater” never seems to get motivated to participate, but is content to watch others do the work. “Comment Tater” never does anything to help, and finds fault with the way others do the work. “Agie Tater” will say it’s too hot, the preaching is too long, the music is too loud; they like to keep the pot stirred up and find people to agree with them. “Hezzie Tater” says he’s gonna help but just never gets around to actually doing anything. “Emma Tater” likes to pretend to be someone she’s not. “Sweet Tater” brings light to any situation and is always prepared to do whatever needed, whenever needed to lend a hand. Do any of these family members sound familiar? Do you recognize yourself as one of these family members? Jesus called us to BE the church. Being the church requires action, support, encouragement, getting our hands dirty, doing hard things, and sharing the load. On April 26th you will have the opportunity to come to “The Ministry Fair” and find a place where you can become an active member of this family called Prattmont. Easter Sunday is BIG! Let's treat it that way! On Sunday, April 12, I will begin two new message series for Sunday mornings and evenings. The Sunday morning series is "Becoming a Healthy Church." The evening series is "Cool Thoughts for Hot Heads." Hope you'll join us for these important words as we BELONG, BELIEVE, AND BECOME! I love you! Bro. Randy Prattmont’s Blessings’ Field Trip to the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory in Sylacauga, AL. Tuesday, April 14th Please be at the church by 8 a.m. to leave. The cost is $2 each if you are 55 or older. We will have lunch so you will need money for that as well. Please sign up on the activities board. Thank you to Sam & Bonnie Rogers for making the arrangements!
