On SATURDAY, MAY 16, 2015 the Leadership Academy will be hosting a
PRO BONO SMALL BUSINESS BOOT CAMP at
WAVERLY ELEMENTARY MIDDLE SCHOOL
3400 Elerslie Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21218 from 8:30am – 5:00pm.
The boot camp will provide small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools and
resources to build strong, successful businesses in their communities. The day will consist of morning
seminars, an all-day resource expo, and an afternoon pro bono legal clinic.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Practicing attorneys licensed in Maryland to assist with a three (3) hour pro bono legal clinic.
An online, on demand, training will be provided to attorneys practicing 2 years or less.
Attorneys will speak one-on-one with small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs about legal
topics related to owning and operating a small business, including:
Business/ Entity Formation
Commercial Leases
Operating Agreements
Business Planning
Entity Registration
Employee Relations/ Benefits
Taxes
Commercial Liability
