You will be working with our global clients and business teams on our cross-platform web application, delivering to desktop, mobile and tablet. You will collaborate closely with an enthusiastic, talented and self-organised group of developers, project managers, business analysts and senior managers in an agile/scrum environment, to implement new functionality supporting the needs of our global users. What the role entails Working with all areas and levels of our development and business teams throughout the project lifecycle, from idea to release and beyond. Organising and running workshops for internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirement and document outputs Working with new and existing clients to understand and analyse their needs, and complete detailed analysis of requirements. Supporting the management of the core platform’s requirement backlog and client requests Writing well-formed business and process requirements, complete with acceptance test criteria Supporting pre-sales activities as necessary Writing, reviewing and managing project and proposal documentation Supporting the company in understanding, developing and documenting business procedures Liaising continuously with the design, development and test teams as a key participant in daily project stand-ups and making key product decisions Client focused brainstorming and validation of proposed platform solutions and processes Continually searching for improvements that add value to our product for our clients Who we are looking for A great communicator, good problem solver, a thinker and analyser - with the ability to understand and respond to End User and Business needs in a rapidly changing business environment Enjoy working as part of a team which is client/user focused Interest in self-learning and expanding skills and knowledge Can work individually, or as part of a team. Must be a self-starter and self-motivator, and able to grasp new concepts and systems using your own initiative. You should ideally have a strong and consistent record of academic achievement, e.g. good A-levels plus at least a 2:1 from a well-regarded university, any agile knowledge will be an advantage. As a fast learner you will be able to contribute quickly, with a genuine passion for web development. You will have strong verbal, written and analytical skills and be keen to integrate socially. You will have a natural attention to detail, be highly organised and a completer-finisher mindset. You should be able to maintain high standards when under pressure. The following skills/attributes/knowledge are desirable: Able to understand project plans, and clearly able to articulate roles, project goals and timelines. Able to self-manage work by establishing responsible deadlines and personal work plans, then manages time effectively. Participate in requirements gathering and user group workshops. Able to undertake gap analysis to identify requirements and support client implementations. Act as point of contact for project support and client interface, becoming a subject matter expert. Knowledge of BA methodologies and best practices, especially those applicable to an Agile environment. Ability to present software proposals/concepts to project stakeholders. Identifying problems in processes and working with stakeholders to create and write improved procedures and policies. Designs new ways of working/configure new modules and analysing business requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities and writing specifications. Able to facilitate user acceptance testing. Experience of writing user stories and user acceptance tests, and creating use case and UML activity diagrams.
