Provide is seeking an energetic, organized, and committed

Provide is seeking an energetic, organized, and committed Communications Intern to support
social media and communications work.
About Provide: At Provide, we believe that everyone who cares for women has a role to play in
ensuring abortion access. This means everyone – physicians, nurses, social service providers, and
counselors – needs the information, training, and support to fulfill their professional commitment to
serve women. We envision a world in which abortion is an integrated and accessible part of health care,
where abortion care is provided in a manner that mirrors how it is experienced – as part of the larger
constellation of a woman’s life. We work to achieve this vision in three ways:
Connecting women to services
We train and support health and social service providers to offer quality abortion care referrals
and all options counseling to patients and clients.
• Advocating for medical education
We advocate for abortion education in nursing schools and within professional nursing
associations.
• Training physicians and nurses
We train physicians and (where legal) nurses in uterine evacuation techniques.
