include but are not limited to: directing the praise band in leading worship for the 10:30am Contemporary Sunday Service
weekly (which includes a 9:30 am sound check); and conducting weekly rehearsals with the praise band. Responsibilities
include but are not limited to: coordinating the weekly song selections with the Pastor; learning a basic knowledge of the
scheduling program and music resource Planning Center Online; schedule the praise band instrumentalists and singers
weekly; printing and updating chord charts for the band (via the planning center database); singing and/or playing an
instrument to help lead the praise band; coordinating the PowerPoint slides for the weekly songs with the Administrative
Assistant. Must be able to read chord charts, have a basic music theory background, and work well with a group of
volunteer musicians and singers to lead worship weekly. Previous experience in leading worship and/or working with other
groups/ensembles of musicians is preferred but not required. A Bachelor’s degree in music is preferred but not required.
Experience in creating vocal harmonies and creating arrangements is preferred but not required. Experience or training in
conducting ensembles is preferred but not required (especially adult and children's choirs). This position pays $125 per
