The MSEAM, in collaboration with the Malta Union of Teachers
(MUT), presents the seminar (which is FREE OF CHARGE) entitled
‘Cyberbullying’.
Seminar Brief
Children and youths are amongst the biggest users of electronic
technology such as mobile phones, computers, and tablets as
well as communication tools including social media sites, text
messages, chat, and websites. Whilst we undertake every effort
to ensure the safety and well being of ourselves and others in
the real world, the same has to be done in the virtual world.
Members of the Cybercrime Unit from the Malta Police Force
will provide e-safety tips and advice which can assist educators
in dealing with this emerging phenomenon. An interactive
approach will be adopted so as to engage the participants to
reflect on their own context.
