1. Start in the direction of the first mark (after S)
2. Pass, or round, each mark in the order displayed. Pass each to Port
unless the letter is underlined and striped, in which case you will pass
it to starboard.
3. When a number, such as “2”, follows the course designation it
indicates a multi-lap course. Sail the course as many times as
indicated by that number. CROSS the Start/Finish line at the end of
EACH lap.
North
4. NEVER cross the Start/Finish line unless starting or finishing,
EXCEPT when completing a lap of a multi-lap course.
5. Pass on the East side of the red Pt. Hudson Bell Buoy #2 unless it is
to be rounded as a mark. Then round in the direction indicated on the
letter board.
6. All racers are to keep at least 100 yards clear of the ferry and ferry
dock at all times (even if dock is empty). If mark “D” is present it
must be left to shoreward unless it is to be rounded.

7. When a number, such as “2” precedes the course designation it
indicates there may be multiple races.
8. If two courses are displayed, the lower is for class B.
