***Attach a 5 X 7 or 8 X 10 glossy photo of contestant entering Most Photogenic with name
and address on the back of the photograph.
Rules for ages 1 day to 20 years old: No gloves, bulky jewelry, costumes, or hats may be
worn and no flowers carried during judging. No excessive make up, or excessive hair
extensions. Contestants will be judged on natural beauty. Contestants must be a resident of
Putnam County and if school age, they have to attend a Putnam County School or be home
schooled in Putnam County.
Contestant category will be determined by age as of pageant date. Both pageants will be
held at the Putnam County Fairgrounds. Winners in 2014 will not be allowed to give up their
crown and then compete in the next category. Winners in the Thursday evening pageant
will be presented at the Sunday afternoon pageant.
Rules for the Fairest of the Fair
Contestants must reach her 16th birthday but not her 21st birthday on or before
12/31/2015.
Contestant cannot qualify if she has ever been married or has had children. (State Rules)
Contestant who marries before fulfilling her duties will be required to relinquish the crown
to the first runner- up.
No previous Putnam County Fairest of the Fair may compete.
The Fairest of the Fair, Young Miss and Teen Miss will be expected to participate in the
week-long Fair activities.
Contestants will be judged as follows:
The interview 100%; Beauty 50% - Eyes 10% Smile 10% - Hair 10% - Dress 20% on. All scores totaled to determine the winner.
Fairest of the Fair Interview will be held at the Jefferson Ave. Church of Christ
Sunday, July 26, 2015, 1:00p.m.
Deadline for Thursday’s, July 30, 2015 Pageant is Thursday, July 23, 2015. Deadline for Sunday’s
August 2, 2015 Pageant is Tuesday, July 28, 2015. No applications accepted after Deadline ( NO
EXCEPTIONS).Dates and times subject to change without notice. No refunds on entry fees.
Practice for both pageants will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Ages 0 mos. – 8 yrs. will be a 5:00 p.m. in
the Putnam County Music Barn at the Fairgrounds. Practice for the Little Miss – Teen Miss will be at
5:00 p.m., Fairest of the Fair will be at 6:00 p.m. on the Main Stage in the Arena at the Fairgrounds.

All pageants winners and contestants entering the photo contest may pick up their winning checks and
photos between Thursday, August 6 and Saturday, August 8, 2015. No checks will be ready until
Thursday, August 6.
Checks and photos will be discarded after noon Monday, August 10, 2015 unless other arrangements
are made in advance.

1129 Flatt Circle, Cookeville, TN 38501 before the Deadline of the Pageant.
Remember to make your check payable to the Putnam County Fair, enclose your photo if you are
entering the Photo Contest, and a copy of Drivers License if entering Fairest of Fair. If mailed, please
call to verify the entry form was received.
Every care and precaution is taken with photos, however, the Putnam
County Fair cannot be held responsible for any damage to photos while on
loan.
