Jefferson County Watermelon Pageant Pageant Date: Saturday, June 6, 2015 Old Jefferson High School * 10:00 a.m. Age Divisions 0-11 months – Baby Miss & Mr. 4-6 Years – Little Miss 12-23 months – Infant Miss & Mr. 7-9 Years – Young Miss 2-3 Years – Tiny Miss & Mr. 10-12 Years – Junior Miss Qualifications * All Contestants must meet the age requirements by the day of the pageant. * All contestants must hold a current Jefferson County address, or attend school in Jefferson County, or work in Jefferson County. * Each contest is required to pay a non-refundable entry fee. * Under no circumstances will unsportsmanlike conduct be tolerated from contestants, family or friends. This infraction will lead to immediate dismissal of the contestant, family, or friends. Guidelines On Stage Question The Little Miss, Young Miss and Junior Miss divisions will be asked an on-stage question during beauty wear. The questions will be fun, personal questions that the contestants will be able to answer easily. For example: What is your favorite color? What is your best friend’s name? And other personal questions such as these. No questions regarding family will be asked. Attire For Beauty 0-9 Girls 10-12 Girls All Boys Long or Knee or Tea Length Dress Floor Length Dress/Gown Suit or slacks/khaki’s or cute outfit Dress, Makeup, Hair & Shoes Please keep in mind that each contestant should dress his/her age. Makeup is optional. Keep in mind your age. Hair should be worn as to what compliments and feels comfortable to the contestant. Shoes should compliment the dress, not distract from the dress or the contestant.
