Among the dozens of convention and meeting locations, Busan Exhibition
and Convention Center (BEXCO, http://www.bexco.co.kr/) has stood out
as the city’s premier venue since it first opened in the heart of Busan’s
convention district in 2001. BEXCO is located in the heart of Busan in
Haeundae-Gu and is surrounded by many of Busan’s other landmark

The 25th International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference and
Exhibition (PVSEC-25) will be held at Busan Exhibition Convention Center (BEXCO),
Busan, Korea from November 16-20, 2015. The main goal of the conference is to
provide a well organized international forum to review and stimulate progress in
photovoltaics. The conference will cover the entire range of photovoltaics from
materials to systems as well as the non-technological realms such as market
development and policies.

■GREETINGS FROM THE GENERAL CHAIR
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 25th International
Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC-25) to be
held in November 16-20, 2015 at Busan Exhibition and Convention
Center (BEXCO) in Korea. Busan is the largest port city in Korea with
lots of coastal tourist attractions and historical and cultural sites.
BEXCO is located very close to Haeundae beach, which is one of the most famous
beaches in Korea. We are all aware that photovoltaics is the most promising energy
technology that is truly renewable, sustainable, and environment friendly. Our longterm dream as PV specialists is installing one PV system for each house without any
governmental financial support, which is apparently a very challenging task. I am
hoping that the holding of the PVSEC-25 will help advance PV technology to achieve
our goal by active interactions between conference participants. PVSCE-25 will be
a place for sharing new technological development, exchanging innovative ideas,
promoting friendship, and experiencing new culture. The PVSEC-25 committee and I
are looking forward to seeing you in Busan in November 16-20, 2015.
A vendor’s exhibition will be held as an integral part of the conference.
