(HL5884) The Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013 came into force on 29 March 2014. The most recent civil partnerships data that has been published relates to the 2013 calendar year, therefore we do not currently have data for the period since the commencement of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013. Civil partnership data for 2014 will be published on the ONS website in summer 2015.
