The Olive Branch
Community Food Ministry
would like to thank the VBS
students and their families at
Queen of Peace for their generous donation of food,
paper products, diapers and personal grooming
items. Many of these items are seldom donated but
but greatly needed so that makes us even more
grateful. We are able to perform our ministry in
Olive Branch only with the assistance of our
supporting churches and their members. May you be
blessed for your generosity.

Olive Branch Food Pantry is in need of nonperishable items, such as:
paper products, toiletries, macaroni
and cheese, soup, stuffing, can
goods, sugar, and baby products.
These much-needed items will help
continue to meet the needs of the
families who come to the pantry each week seeking
assistance.
May you be blessed for your kindness.
2015-2016 PREP REGISTRATION
You may register any time MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. in the
church office. Please have a copy of
your child’s baptismal certificate
with you. A schedule of class dates is also available.
Recycling scrap metal is a way to
both help the environment and your
parish. Simply put scrap metal
(aluminum cans in large bags please)
in the trailer behind the Church.
When the trailer fills, we can bring it
to a recycling center and sell the scrap metal.
Congratulations to Nicole Muniz, on
her baptism on Saturday, June 27th,
2015. Nicole is the daughter of Adolfo
Muniz & Dolce Cortes Barrera.

By being taught they have a place in the
community of the church.
By seeing, hearing, feeling, even smelling,
the sanctuary as a place of welcome and
worship.
By being around other children in the
worship space.
By watching how their significant adults
sing, pray, and make offerings.
By sharing prayers, communion, and worship
leadership alongside adults.
By being given ways to watch for God’s
presence in their own lives and encouraged to
share where they notice God and how they
participate in God’s love.
Please…Come to Mass early
enough not to disrupt. Leave late
enough not to insult. (Mass does
not end until the final blessing.)
Worship reverently enough not to
distract. Dress proudly enough not
to offend.
