The Fatima Prayer
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of
hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most
need of Thy mercy. Amen.
Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy
protection, implored thy help or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly
unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and
sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
FOR ALL OUR DEARLY BELOVED DEPARTED
The names of those who have recently
passed from this life to the next will remain
on the bulletin necrology for nine weeks.
They will then be transferred to the permanent
parish necrology, also known as the Book of the
Dead. Mass Intentions for loved ones after this time
will be printed the week that the Holy Mass is
scheduled.
Lord Jesus, remember especially in loving mercy:
Eudosia Pinto, Yita Torres, William Booth,
Mamie Ferrera, John Aiola, Cecelia Wilcox,
Rose Evangelista, Gary Shertenlieb,
Hattie Berg, Belinda Susanne Meier, Eva
Frese, Brenda Gallegas, Rosemary Downing,

after you have attended the class and turned in the
necessary paperwork, which includes the St. Vincent
de Paul parish registration packet (if the family is not
already registered), baptism registration form and

The Society of
St Vincent de Paul
Did you Know?
The Saint Vincent de Paul Society was founded by
Blessed Frédéric Ozanam in the 1840’s while he was a
law student at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. While there,
he defended against those who mocked the church. They
asked him “What do you do besides talk to prove the
faith you claim is in you?” Frédéric decided that his
words needed to be grounded in action. Soon after, the
Saint Vincent de Paul Society was born.
We thank you for your ongoing generosity
toward those in need within our community.
Please continue to donate your useable
furniture, home décor items, small appliances and gently
used clothing to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society Thrift
Store. Monetary donations are always welcome as well.
We are always in need of additional volunteers for the
Thrift Store and in the Family Support Center. Please
prayerfully consider volunteering an hour or two of your
time to help those in need in our community. This is an
excellent option for students and others interested in
performing community service.
Call (770) 443-1533 for the Support Center
(On Monday and Wednesday
from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon)
or
Call (770) 443-1537 for the Thrift Store

Knights of Columbus First Friday
Fish Fry
Thank you to all who came to the inaugural
First Friday Fish Fry! We were very encouraged by
the turnout and are looking forward to the next
event!
We learned that the portion size for our adult meals
should be larger, so the adult plate will now include
three pieces of fish, three hush puppies
and coleslaw.
We will also add French fries as a menu option in
place of hush puppies.
Please join us on Friday, June 5, for a meal in
Simpson Hall, followed by an hour of “church
time”. Depending on the availability of a priest or
deacon, there may be Adoration, the Rosary,
Stations of the Cross, or simple quiet time with
our Lord’s presence in the tabernacle.
