Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the q-PaCE 2016 Conference Organizing Committee we cordially invite you to the Topical
Conference on Charged Particle Collisions and Electronic processes in Atoms, Molecules and Materials (q-PaCE
2016) which is organized by Indian School of Mines Dhanbad, India in association with Indian Society of
Atomic and Molecular Physics (ISAMP).
The conference will take place during 9-11 January, 2016 at ISM Dhanbad, India.
q-PaCE 2016 is one of the series of conferences organized by ISAMP once every two years with an emphasis on a
thrust area in atomic and molecular physics. The purpose of this conference is to bring together students, early
career researchers and established scientists working in the field of atomic, molecular and optical physics, to
present their work and get an overview of the new developments in the theoretical tools and experimental
techniques. This conference will serve as a common platform for the researchers to interact and share their
research ideas. The meeting combines plenary and invited talks by experts in the field and oral and poster
presentations by young researchers and students. The conference aims to foster a collaborative atmosphere with
interactions and deliberations through these sessions.
The priority themes of the conference are:







Electron-atom / molecule collision.
Positron-atom / molecule collision.
Ion-atom / molecule collision.
Electron spectroscopy.
Electronic processes in atoms, molecules and condensed matter.
Electron-phonon and electron-photon interactions.
Applications of collision and spectroscopic data in atmospheric sciences, astrochemistry, solar
and interstellar media, natural and industrial plasma, laser physics, accelerator physics, radiation
chemistry and biological sciences.
