Bike Share Feasibility Study Quad Cities Public Meeting Would you like bicycle sharing in the Quad Cities? Please join River Action, the Quad Cities Bike Share Planning Committee and Alta Planning + Design for a community meeting to explore options and opportunities for a public bike share system in the Quad Cities. This introductory meeting will help the planning team incorporate public input into the study. The potential areas for bike share include Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, and Riverdale. Bicycle share can positively impact community health, safety, and economic prosperity. Bicycle share programs give residents and visitors the ability to borrow a bicycle for short trips. Bike sharing programs provide a low-cost, lowcommitment transportation alternative that enables and encourages multi-modal commutes and recreation. Many cities are quickly discovering their value and benefits.
