9:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Group Rotations
Join us for this year’s Youth Field Day & Expo
at the UF/IFAS Range Cattle Research and
Education Center. Our goal is to excite students
about agriculture and science, reveal future
opportunities in those areas, and foster a love of
learning which promotes agriculture and good
stewardship in this and future generations.
Each June, this field day is held at the Center,
specifically structured for students ages 8-18.
Check-in opens at 8:00 a.m. with participants
gathering under the tent for the opening kickoff
of the event at 9:00 a.m. Here group leaders will
be introduced and everyone will split into their
groups (Red A, Red B, Blue A, Blue B, Green
A, Green B) then travel to their first station.
Groups will be guided through the morning
rotations by their group leaders visiting each of
the six structured learning stations. A light snack
and drink will be provided mid-morning during
one of the class stations and lunch will be served
in a split schedule with the ‘A’ groups eating at
12:35 and the ‘B’ groups eating at 1:15. During
and after lunch, the expo will be open.
