you can make
a difference!
Hello
I joined Weight Watchers 23 years ago as a member, and still to this day remember
my Leader. I lost 44 lbs to get to goal and staying to my meetings really helped
me. I will never forget the feeling I had when I got on those scales and my Leader
smiled and said ‘you’ve done it’. I was so proud but I couldn’t have done it alone.
I then decided that I too wanted to pass on my experience and help other people
lose weight and achieve their goals. And now as the Operations Manager, when
I visit meetings and I see all the good that we are able to do, my heart fills. Leaders
are at the heart of this business and today we have a network of professionally
qualified Leaders across the UK, who every week make a real difference to
people’s lives.
We are always looking for bright, energetic and enthusiastic people who know
what it’s like to lose weight and genuinely want to help others achieve their weight
loss goals. Not only does this unique role offer you the chance to run a business
that fits around you, it’s also hugely rewarding, especially when you see how much
of a difference you can make to members’ lives. On top of that, being a Leader is a
great way to stay in control of your own weight!
I sincerely hope that you will enjoy finding out more about this exciting and
rewarding opportunity.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes
Kathryn Kendrick
Operations Manager
Weight Watchers UK Ltd is part of an
international organisation helping people to
reach their weight loss goals in 30 different

keep it off through quality service and group
support.
The Role
Today in the UK alone we have a network of
professionally trained Leaders who run over
6000 meetings every week.
After taking part in our world class training programme,
As a Leader, your goal is to make members feel cared for,
part of the group, well informed and motivated to succeed.
Your members may want your help with achieving a weight
loss as little as 5 lbs or as much as 10 stone and more. Your
friendly, sensitive approach and caring personality, as well as
your personal experience of what it feels like to lose weight
will inspire hundreds of members to achieve their goals.
which builds on your personal qualities, you would run a
minimum of 2 meetings per week local to you. Meetings
are run throughout the week and over the weekends. Your
meetings will be your own business so you can choose when
to run these and still meet your personal commitments. In
addition to the training you will be able to benefit from the
sound expertise of our Area Service Managers who were
once Leaders too. To ensure your meetings are successful
you will need to flexibly manage your time when it comes to
preparation and follow up with your members and associated
administration. To help you run you meetings, you can of
course recruit and train your own helpers.
The one hour meeting is a buzzing, social and motivational
environment for everyone, where members are weighed
and take part in a group discussion that is led by you! You
will be a role model to your members and as well as helping
them, it’s a great way of helping yourself stay focused and in
control of your own weight.
Inspiring and motivating other people whilst sharing your
own weight loss experience will ensure you lead your
members to success and give you the opportunity to have
fun whilst you earn!
