Lifeguard
Job Description:
Enforce safety regulations for the protection of pool patrons and assist in general maintenance
and up keep of all aquatic facilities.
Student Position Title:
Certifications Required:
All lifeguard applicants must be currently certified in Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED for the
Professional and First Aid from the American Red Cross or equivalent organization.
You must be currently certified to be considered for employment.
Work Hours/Anticipated Schedule:
The Lifeguard position offers a flexible schedule that works around class schedules. Lifeguards
can work anywhere from 3 to 29.75 hours per week. Lifeguards are required to work weekly,
weekends, holidays, and breaks.
Additional Information:
The application process will remain open throughout Spring and Summer Sessions. Guards
working during summer sessions will be considered for continued employment for Fall
semester. There will be a Lifeguard skills test that you will need to partake in and
subsequent interview prior to being offered a job. Dates for the Lifeguard skills test will be
as follows:
April 21st 7pm, April 29th 7pm
*Additional skills screening dates will be added as needed
