Enclosed you will find a brochure for the 2015 Season Pool Memberships at Refreshing Mountain. In building upon
some changes we made in 2014, here are some improvements you can expect for the 2015 season.

MORE LUNCH ITEMS IN THE STORE. We will again be opening the pool at 11AM most days. Since you may
be here over the lunch hour, we plan to have subs and other lunch items available in the store this year.
GET YOUR COFFEE FASTER. Ok, so last year we added some great new products in the store, but who wants
to wait in line 20 minutes to get it? This year, we will be adding equipment and staff to increase the speed in
which we can get you your order ☺.
50% DISCOUNT ON DAY GUEST PASSES. Everyone seemed to like this for 2014, so we will include it again for
2015. Each season membership will receive 5 coupons for 50% off the regular Day Guest costs. Spoiler
Alert!!! There will be some other great coupons available as well for pool members, including discounts for
pool parties, store merchandise, ziplining, and Nature Exploration Packages.
OTHER ACTIVITY OPTIONS. As you probably know, Refreshing Mountain has lots of other great things to do
on-site, in addition to the pool. For 2015, we are going to have options available for Day Guests to try
activities like Archery, the Climbing Tower, Pony Rides, and other fun outdoor activities. Additional fees will
apply, but pool members will also have some discounts available. Ask us for details.

• Mark your calendars! June 10th, 2015 will be our 5rd Annual Community Day from 2-6 pm, benefitting Ephrata
Area Social Services! See enclosed postcard. We have made some adjustments this year to accommodate more
people and give more options than previous years.
• Early Bird Discount for family membership is over April 27, 2015.

As a friendly reminder, pool membership at RM gives you access to the pool area. It does not include access to other
areas of the camp (i.e. the gyms, baseball field, pavilion, Ropes courses, etc.). Pool members will be allowed to use the
playground and outdoor basketball/volleyball court if these facilities are not occupied by guest groups of RM. It is
imperative that the pool members not roam beyond these 2 areas and the pool, unless paying for other activities.

PLEASE OBSERVE AND FOLLOW THE POSTED SIGNS AT THE ENTRANCE AND FOR THE DIVING AND SLIDE AREAS.
These rules will be enforced. Your cooperation will result in a pleasant, enjoyable and safe pool swimming season for all
Members will be held responsible for all actions of their guests. The cost of any property damage will be charged to the responsible
party
All persons must use the facility in conformity with all rules and regulations. Any person may be barred from the pool area for
violation of the rules and regulations at the discretion of those in charge. Running, rough play and conduct not conducive to
safety are prohibited in the pool and pool area. .
Management reserves the right to limit the number of members/guests admitted, when in its opinion, the pool is overcrowded.
All persons in bathing attire shall wear a robe or appropriate covering on their way to and from swimming area. Swimwear must be
a one piece suit for females and boxer style suits for males. ABSOLUTELY NO BIKINI OR SPEEDO SUITS ALLOWED. Mesh
shorts and shirts will be allowed in the pool, however jeans are not permitted. Normal clothing is allowed in pool area in the
seating areas, however swimming attire will be required in the water. A dark tee shirt cover up can be used to cover a two piece
suit. Tankinis are permissible if no midriff is exposed.
Everyone within the pool area needs to be either a season member, a paying guest, or a retreat guest.
Children, 10 years of age or under, are not permitted in the pool area without an adult. (Adult is defined as someone over the age of
18.) Babies MUST be in swimming diapers while in the pool, No plastic diapers please!
Admission can be refused to anyone with skin abrasions, colds, coughs, inflamed eye infections or certain type of bandages.
No pets allowed in pool area.
Food and beverages may be brought into the wooden deck area only. No glass allowed in pool area. Dispose of leftovers properly.
Pool ladders are to remain open for traffic at all times. No sitting on, standing in or obstructing the ladder areas.
There is no admittance to the pool without a RMC lifeguard on duty.
Do not apply suntan lotion while in the water.
Voices are to be kept at a normal level. FOUL LANGUAGE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!! Personal radios must be kept very
personal.
Chairs and tables are first/come first/served. Please place towels and misc. items in the bins provided to keep the tables open for
food items.
No smoking allowed within the fenced area and within 100 feet of any buildings.
No chewing gum or hard candy should be in the pool area. This is a major choking hazard.
Refrain from moving furniture around. Talk to Lifeguards if furniture needs to be rearranged.
REFRESHING MOUNTAIN CAMP ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ACCIDENTS OR
INJURIES IN CONNECTION WITH USE OF THE POOL. PERSONS USING THE POOL RELEASE AND
INDEMNIFY THE CAMP AND ITS AFFILIATES FROM ANY CLAIMS IN CONNECTION WITH ANY LOSS
OF LIFE OR PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE OR LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY.
Family membership is defined as 2 married adults plus all dependent children. This includes fresh air/foster children but does not include relatives
(grandparents, grandkids, cousins, etc.), unless such persons reside as a dependent with the family
