Obstacles of Educational Research in Gaza Universities as Perceived by the Faculty Members and Suggestions to Improve it Abstract: This study aimed to know the obstacles of educational research in Gaza universities. To achieve this aim, the researcher designed a questionnaire which was distributed to a random sample of (40) faculty members in Gaza universities in the three specializations (foundation discipline, curricula and teaching methods and psychology). The study reached to several results, the most important of them are: 1 - In descending order of obstacles of educational research in Gaza universities as perceived by the faculty members was as follows: (obstacles related to the publishing and distribution, followed by physical and moral obstacles, then the domain of professional growth associated with educational research to the faculty member, and obstacles related to management, and after obstacles of working conditions, finally, obstacles of sources and information for educational research). -2- 2 - There is no difference in the estimates of the faculty members to the obstacles of educational research in different scientific qualification (PhD, MA) in the total degree of the questionnaire and its domains except the domain of the physical and moral obstacles for the favor of a doctorate. 3 - There was no difference in the estimates of faculty members to the obstacles of educational research in different specialization (foundation discipline, curricula and teaching methods and psychology).
