Key Instructions
• The same unit works for Simon XT & Simon XTi.
• RE920S mounts inside the Simon XT panel and communicates with the
Simon XT and Simon XTi via the Expansion Connector
• Contains RF Module label – must be affixed to exterior of panel
enclosure.

Operation
Event Reporting:
Events are reported to both the CMS monitoring receiver and the
SiteControl interactive server. All events use Contact ID reporting codes.
The following events are reported by default:
Alarms
Alarm cancels
Openings
Closings
System Low Battery
System Low Battery Restoral
AC Power Fail
AC Power Restoral
LEDs
Interactive Control:
Four LEDs on the Ethernet card itself indicate the status of the card and its
connections.
The system may be controlled remotely through the SiteControl
interactive platform.
Z-Wave
Ethernet LEDs

Z-Wave devices can be controlled via the Interactive function.
Power
On and pulsing once per second when the board is powered and
running

On when the unit is registered with the local ethernet router

On when the connection to the CMS central station is established

Press and hold for 5 seconds: Resets the board and keeps all settings

Programming:
1) Refer to server setup instructions and set up the account on the Site Control
Dealer Portal.
2) Disarm the system.

3) Power down the GE Simon XT system.
4) Plug RE920S into the back of the GE Simon XT control panel. (Picture below)

5) Connect an Ethernet cable to the local router and connect it to the RE920S.
6) Apply power to the GE Simon XT system.

8) Installation is complete.

enrollment and operation, per control panel installation instructions, at installation.
