complete battlefield management and advanced communications—all through a
common interface. In use today, hComms is comprised of two main components:
hManager, for network planning and management, and hC2 for data sharing.
hC2 SOFTWARE SUITE—COLLABORATE ACROSS ECHELONS
Sharing data couldn’t be easier with the hC2 Software Suite. This complete command and
control communications software solution connects all echelons—from headquarters to
tactical edge—making critical information available where and when it’s needed with its four
specialized products: hC2 Node Center, Command, Patrol and Dismount.
The Harris hC2 Command RF-7800N-BM200 C2 Information System provides all the tools
needed to support operational staff in planning and executing missions. Intended for
installation at all command levels (as required) and for use primarily in standard desktop
environments, hC2 Command: facilitates collaborative planning and execution of both
graphical and textual missions; depicts routes and unit symbols while enabling users to pull
Holdings Reports and perform terrain analyses to determine current statuses; adheres to
Multilateral Interoperability Programme (MIP) standards (2.0, 3.0, 3.1); and enables data
exchange with other MIP-interoperable systems as its based on MIP’s JC3IEDM standard.
hC2 Command is designed for use in conjunction with the Harris hC2 Node Center, particularly
when the JCOP is needed.
