Ton Dassen (Master, Eindhoven University of Technology) is
program manager, since 2007, at Netherlands Environmental
Assessment
Agency
(PBL),
Senior
Researcher
at
the
Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, since 2005.
From 1998 to 2005 he was a Senior Researcher at National
Institute for Public Health and the Environment, and
researcher, from 1991 to 1998 at the National Aerospace Laboratory. He is
author of:


Thanos Dokos (PhD, Cambridge University) is the DirectorGeneral of the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign
Policy (ELIAMEP). He has held research posts at the
Hessische Stiftung Friedens und Konfliktforschung (1989-90)
and the Center for Science and International Affairs (CSIA)
at Harvard University (1990-91). He served as the Director for Research,
Strategic Studies Division, Hellenic Ministry of National Defense (1996-98) and
as an Advisor on NATO issues to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1998-1999). He
was a NATO research fellow for 1996-98. He has taught at the University of
Athens and the University of Piraeus, the Hellenic National Defense College,
the Diplomatic Academy and the Hellenic National Security School. His recent
publications include:


Miriam Saraiva (PhD, Universidad Complutense de Madrid)
is professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
She was coordinator of the Rio de Janeiro State University’s
Graduate Program in International Affairs (2009-2012). She
was Co-chair of the EU-Latin American Section of the Latin
American Studies Association (2009-2012). In 2013 she was
appointed as the first Rio Branco Chair in International
Relations in the University of Oxford, where she carried out a research on
Strategies and Partnerships for Brazil in a Changing Global Order: the Place of
the European Union'. Her main research interests include Brazilian Foreign
Policy, Mercosur and Brazil-Argentina relations, European Foreign Policy and
South American integration. Her most recent publications includes:

David Spence (PhD, Sciences-Po) is a Visiting Fellow at the
European Institute at the London School of Economics.
Until 2011, he was Minister Counsellor with special
responsibility for human security and disarmament at the
European Union delegation to the United Nations in
Geneva. Until 2003, he was the Commission representative
in the G8 and EU Council Terrorism Working Groups. In 2006, Dr. Spence was
seconded by the European Commission as senior political advisor to the
Special Representative of the United Nations for the Elections in the Ivory
Coast. His most recent publications are:
