Consulado Geral Britânico no Rio de Janeiro Corporate Services Intern Main purpose of job: To assist the Corporate Services Team at the British Consulate in Rio de Janeiro in providing support to Estates, Security and Transport, IT, Financial and HR departments to deliver a good level of service to internal clients. Main duties and responsibilities: Assist the HR/Accounts Assistant: Recruitment process Filing Updating databases Assist the Security, Logistics and Transport Analyst in organising maintenance works and transport and logistics activities: Researching for new suppliers, products or technical assistance of existing products. Liaising with suppliers and contractors to quote and organise maintenance works. Escorting contractors and suppliers within the official properties Updating inventory Organising the transport booking Researching for new suppliers, products or technical assistance of existing products. Liaising with suppliers and contractors to quote and organise maintenance works. Escorting contractors and suppliers within the official properties Updating inventory Organising the transport booking. Assist the Customer Relations and Estates Analyst weekly agenda in the customer relationship sector: Giving support to internal clients Giving support with the update of the Customer Relation system Administrative Assistant/IT Setting up IT equipments such as VC and computers when necessary Controlling and purchasing stationery when necessary Booking hotel and flights The ideal candidate will have: A University-level education/degree or ongoing studies. He/she should possess an excellent command of written and spoken English and Portuguese with strong organisational, communication, customer service, team-working and IT skills. Desirable: Previous experience in working for a diplomatic mission is an advantage. Terms and Conditions: The British Consulate-General in Rio de Janeiro aims to offer an attractive working environment and economic support for this role of: R$11.10 per hour, 30 hours a week.
