POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT 6/4/14 PHARMACY TECHNICIAN INSTRUCTOR The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Pharmacy Technician Instructor. This one-year (renewable), non-tenure track position will begin Fall Semester (August) 2014. The successful candidate will instruct, mentor and build strong rapport with students enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician program. The faculty member will be responsible for curriculum development/revision and delivery of all course materials and instruction for the program and prepare the student for the workplace. The standard teaching load for an instructor is 30 credit hours per academic year. Student advising within the academic program may be assigned by the Chair and/or Dean. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of current Pharmaceutical industry experience. Degree preferred.
