Artistic Associate - Right Up Our Steet

Right Up Our Street is Doncaster’s Creative People and Places Programme, a national Arts
Council programme designed to increase participation in the Arts. It is led by a consortium
of Doncaster arts organisations: darts (Doncaster Community Arts), Cast, Doncaster
Voluntary Art Network and Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust, and is all about Doncaster
people choosing, making, seeing and sharing brilliant cultural ideas. The arts activity has
three strands (D, N & A). Each has a clear and separate focus but together creating an
interconnected and mutually supported whole. Cast leads and delivers the ‘D strand’,
which are the larger scale, home produced events that aim to create surprise, delight and
impact. Dancehall is the final performance event in our three-year RUOS programme. We
are now seeking an experienced creative practitioner to support the programme on behalf
of Cast.
